Who can benefit from therapy?
I believe anyone can benefit from therapy. Many of us go through life with the belief that talking about ourselves or our problems makes us burdensome, which invalidates our experiences and creates resentment. Having a sounding board to bounce ideas off of can help refine those thoughts, and aid us in having a better understanding of the world around us.
If you have struggled with anxiety, depression, trauma, or other mental health issues, therapy can help you address the underlying beliefs that allow those intrusive thoughts to control your life.
