“Comparison is the thief of Joy.”

— Theodore Roosevelt

Have you ever heard the saying "the mind is a wonderful servant, but a terrible master?" I can help you learn to not follow your every thought as if it is a command, and to be more connected to the present moment. Integrity, humility, benevolence, and community are the core values of my practice. As your therapist, I will help you identify your own core values and what is most important to you. Once we know what is most important, we can nourish those areas while changing how you relate to unhelpful thinking patterns. I believe therapy is about repairing relationships, whether to food, to your body, to others or with yourself.

I have clinical experience working with all genders struggling with anxiety, depression, anger management, relationships, co-dependency, eating disorders, and obsessive compulsive disorder. As one of five brothers from a large Midwestern family, I am passionate about helping boys and young men effectively develop language around their feelings and emotions.

Please Note: I am only accepting tele-health patients in Colorado and California at this time.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy

  • Values

are the underlying driving force in our lives, what is truly important and meaningful to us. Values provide direction for our lives and help us to make important decisions.

  • Mindfulness

techniques keep you focused on the moment at hand, instead of dwelling on the past or future tripping.

  • Commited Action

is the willingness to make values-driven choices and act upon them. It is action that you take over and over despite resistance or failure.
